Most of last night's feeding and the first one this morning were unsuccessful. But I had this strange dream last night that convinced me I had to try harder. Looks like one kitten isn't latching. When I looked this morning, I had two fat bellied kittens and one very skinny one. NOT. GOOD. Two kittens so far and counting! May St. Francis keep mama and all of babies safe and healthy.

Gushies, our pregnant feral cat, tested negative for both FIV and feline leukemia. So, I have cleaned the master bathroom and put two snuggly boxes in there with her and now we wait. I've never had a pregnant cat in the house before. Fingers crossed that she has a small but healthy litter.

Tomorrow at an ungodly hour, Bree and I are headed to Las Vegas with Howard who is attending a conference. Tonight, of course, would be the night I managed to trap the very pregnant feral cat I've been trying to catch so I could have her spayed. I have a friend in Massachusetts who rescued a mistreated rabbit but cannot keep it and is looking to find a good forever home for it. It is a white and brown dwarf rabbit.
